HR Administrator (Entry level) (London)

JOB TITLE:   HR Administrator (Entry level)

THE ROLE

This is a newly created role to for someone keen to take the first step in their HR career.  You will be part of a small, friendly HR team working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing our recruitment inbox
  • Typing and formatting correspondence and documents
  • Filing, scanning and printing
  • Answering calls and taking messages
  • Uploading HR content onto the Intranet
  • Processing invoices
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Organising meetings and interviews
  • Process and track joiner and leaver documentation and emails to agreed timeframes
  • Greeting candidates and setting up recruitment assessments
  • Gathering pre-employment checks, including references and right to work documents
  • Keep HR files updated
  • Prepare induction and training packs
  • Track probation process
  • Track appraisal process
  • Carrying out research related tasks
  • Replenish HR stationery
  • Maintain HR archives

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Excellent communication – both written and verbal
  • MS Office Suite – good working knowledge
  • Proven administrative experience in an office environment
  • Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Experience of  independently managing own workload
  • Proven experience of meeting deadlines
  • Evidence of working to changing priorities in a busy environment
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive informaiton
  • A genuine interest in HR

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a recruitment environment
  • Experience in professional services
