On Thursday 8 December 2022, the we hosted the first day of workshops for our staff to meet with department heads of some of our Joint Venture (JV) companies to find out more about what they do.

The day was set up as a ‘speed-dating’ event whereby we were organised into groups, with presentations and discussions led by the excellent JVs under the Simmons Gainsford Group.

Firstly, we were given an introduction by our Senior Partner, Darren Hersey, who gave an overview of the day and introduced us to the representatives from our Capital Allowances, Financial Services, Indirect Tax, Insurance and Outsourcing joint ventures. Managers from our internal departments – Fl3xiBooks (bookkeeping) and PayAssist (payroll) – also took part in the day.

All in all an excellent event with some really positive feedback from the day. We are looking forward to more sessions in 2023 with some of our other Joint Venture companies.
