More of Mexico and the Galápagos Islands! | Nick Weller’s Travel Diary

Associate Partner at Simmons Gainsford, Nick Weller, is currently on a 3-month sabbatical, travelling and volunteering across Latin America and Africa. Here’s what he’s been up to…

More of Mexico

On the next part of our Mexico trip we took part in some beach and coral reef clean up work.

We also helped clear the Cenotes (sink holes) of rubbish.

Here’s one of me in my swimming shorts! It was so peaceful down there.

Galápagos Islands

We then travelled to the Galápagos Islands and worked on conservation programs including a giant tortoise breeding centre.

We also swam with sea lions and sharks…

…and helped out with the protection of iguanas!

Where to next?

Stay tuned for the next entry as Nick travels to the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest and Andes Mountains!
