At this time of the year, there is a rise of the scams and phishing emails looking like they come from HMRC.
Please be extra vigilant if you have received an email or text looking like it is from HMRC.
Don’t give out private information (such as bank details or passwords), reply to text messages, download attachments or click on any links in emails if you’re not sure they’re genuine.
