Merger of Simmons Gainsford LLP and accountancy firm Newman Peters

After nearly twenty years practicing as Newman Peters we have decided to merge with another well-established London firm, based not far from our current offices in the West End. We believe that this merger will bring significant benefits to all our clients and will enable us to continue and hopefully enhance the high standards of service which we have always endeavoured to maintain.

With effect from 20th April 2015 the enlarged firm will practice as Simmons Gainsford from offices at 7-10 Chandos Street, London W1G 9DQ.

Qualified in 1978, Richard is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

He has been in practice throughout his professional career during which he also served as Finance Director of a fully quoted property company which Richard assisted in bringing to the market

Qualified in 1972 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In public practice since 1981, Richard has gained a wealth of experience in dealing with problems of owner managed businesses, helping them to achieve their aims for expansion and profitability.

Richard previously spent nine years in industry and has also more recent served as Finance Director of a Quoted company.
