Simmons Gainsford Uckfield gives up a day in the office to spend helping out at Chailey Heritage Foundation
Earlier this year Simmons Gainsford Uckfield announced that they were going to support Chailey Heritage Foundation over the next year.
Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering charity providing education, care and transition services for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs.
On Wednesday 17th August and Thursday 18th August the staff at Simmons Gainsford Uckfield gave up a day in the office to spend helping out at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
The task the teams were given was to stain the fences within the Chailey Heritage Foundation grounds.
“Staining the fences is the kind of task that needs to be done but might not have the highest priority for the small team of groundsmen. We are so happy that we were able to help out and it will make it look so much nicer for the children when they come back from their summer holidays.” Says Caroline Otterheim, Head of Marketing at Simmons Gainsford Group.
