Simmons Gainsford Uckfield Quiz Night raises money for Chailey Heritage Foundation
On Wednesday 7th June 2017 Simmons Gainsford LLP in Uckfield embarked on a mission to find the ‘Brains of East Sussex’ and, at the same time, raised valuable funds for the Chailey Heritage Foundation.
The evening proved to be one of fun, competitiveness and full of success with 39 contestants attending from C J Thorne & Co Limited, Neva Consultants Limited, Rix and Kay, Simmons Gainsford LLP and Chailey Heritage themselves had a team. Held at The Highlands Inn, Uckfield, the quiz night helped raise over £600 with TAKE VAT of Simmons Gainsford triumphing. Each business above also kindly donated gifts for a raffle too.
The proceeds raised will go towards the continued support of Chailey Heritage Foundation which provides ongoing education, transition services and care for children suffering with physical disabilities and complex health needs.
James Duggan, Simmons Gainsford’s partner in Uckfield said ”This was a fantastic fun evening for a very worthy cause. I would like to thank both The Highlands Inn for allowing us to hold the event there and their generous donation to the raffle, and to Gary King from Uckfield FM who was our very entertaining quiz master for the evening. “
