Out of Control Credit Controller

The credit control manager for the insured company was responsible for aged debt analysis, collection of invoiced payment arrears, account reconciliation and the daily banking of money received by the insured company. She also provided support to the sales, service and parts departments and monitored all of the customer accounts. All payments received were dealt with by her, or anyone working for her. She misappropriated cash sums received from customers for payment of outstanding invoices. The abuse occurred for around five years and amounted to more than £125,000.
